Corfiot Cricket

After spending a large part of the day on the beach in yesterday's blip, we went on a late afternoon boat trip to Corfu Town where we were in time to enjoy a local ginger beer and catch the end of the cricket in front of the buildings known as The Liston in the old town. Cricket has been enjoyed here for a good many years but it's fair to say the game was played with more enthusiasm than finesse.

We had a wander round the pleasant old town and a meal before it was time to catch the late night boat back. It was a bit chilly on deck which meant a Metaxa brandy was called for when we reached dry land
