Repaired at last

Engine warning lamp came on last Friday on my way to Manchester only flashing amber so kept going.Booked her in for first thing Monday morning.
Later in the day found out only an air filter problem (I wasn't convinced)£17 for the part but a bill of £132 for diagnostics and labour!
6.00am Tuesday morning on my way to Birmingham engine warning light back on.You can imagine my delight.Rang Merc and asked if they could have a mechanic take a look at it this time.Took it in early Wednesday morning and picked it up this morning along with a bill for £600 for parts and a repair to the turbo.Can I complain after 121000 miles and first major repair.For any other make of van probably not but this is a Mercedes and I expect more.

Still it is great to have her back.She looked like a large sad wounded animal all last weekend awaiting repair.

Delivered down to Shropshire today and Helen came with me.Picnic in the van at the side of the road.

If you look closely you can see travelling cat who goes everywhere with me in the van and very good company he is.
