wk37: Neuzuzügerapero

Friday was "Neuzuzügerapero" in our small town. It is one of these long german words even Google Translate can't handle and it means an aperitif for new people that joined our municipality. It's a yearly event, our mayor speaks some welcome words, afterwards there is a short sightseeing walk through the historic centre with an aperitif at the end.

Also invited are all different societies and clubs, to be present and have a chat with people interested. So my wife and I participated for our rowing club. 

Highlight of the event is the opportunity to climb up the church tower, with an amazing view over the area.
