Zion National Park

Another spectacular Canyon, in Utah....
Fantastically high, colourful mountains....sedimentary rocks that have been uplifted by tectonic processes, and then weathered by wind and water.
A free shuttle bus takes visitors up the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive......and we walked along the Virgin River.....
Green canyons, red cliffs and blue skies......I never expected to see such vibrant colours in a 'desert'!
