Blood and fire

The motto of the Salvation Army.

BD1 Brass hired the hall of Cheltenham's citadel to rehearse in this afternoon. We polished the performance and we are in a good place so bring on tomorrow!

The motto had never really made me think before but now we have a daughter in the ambulance service and Mr H was a fire fighter for so long it seems especially relevant. Also can't help but think of Nana Ruby, Mr H's grandma who was brought up Salvationist.

Having an early night as we have a long day tomorrow.
