By the sea !
For those of you who asked about the trashion show.
It was a bit of a surreal evening! We arrived and it was in a big greenhouse. It's a centre for young adults with learning difficulties. We all took 3 outfits and could leave with 3 outfits so it was a swap. The young adults provided entertainment and the male teacher danced around in a tight dress lip syncing to a song with a young man in a mini dress looking more like Fred Flintstone. Thank goodness Alison had bought a bottle of prosecco and we had a drink!!! We were glad we had gone as they had worked so hard and there weren't that many there, mainly the family members of the young adults.
Went over to Kate and John's today. As John wanted to watch the horse racing Kate and I had a trip to Cleveleys. A nice wander along the prom then into the cafe for fish and chips. The Lakes were nice and clear across the bay. The sun shone but there was a cool wind. The rain poured as I drove home and there were even hail stones at one time. I've turned the heating up tonight and drinking hot blackcurrant. Autumn has definitely arrived and no Indian summer this year!
