today

her birthday

but it wasn't meant to be - instead i'm grieving her as just less than a year ago - she died very unexpectedly - the great good news is that she is now no longer living with any pain - and is dancing with the angels around abba father's throne - the not so great news is that her family is left behind - missing her, grieving her, questioning as humans do - what happened and why

for me, it's more the missing of her - as i still reach for my phone to call her - wanting to hear her voice because i know how she'll answer - or to leave a text message - then suddenly i remember she's gone, not to respond to me - although in small ways i think there are times - when she does talk to me if i'm paying attention - for example

this flower - cathy loved yellow so of course my flower for her - had to be yellow today - as i was snapping, i was chatting to her - on the upload i then noticed this particular shot reflected a heart - yup a heart! - have you noticed it yet? - most of you will know i look for natural hearts in nature - all the time, as much as possible to share with you all - i believe they're a sign of god's creation to us - a reminder he is here with us, loves us and has not forgotten us - which is why i find it so important to share them with you - i want you to get that message from him - so when i saw this heart now it was as though it was cathy saying - 'i am here, i have not forgotten you' - and even though she's dancing with the angels - she's still dancing with me, too
