No stars today!

A grey and wet Saturday today. Things aren't going as planned.

I was supposed to attend a photo workshop in the evening to capture stars and the Milky Way, but it was cancelled because of the bad wheather. Too much clouds in the sky instead of stars. It's postponed to next week. Fingers crossed!

In Appingedam it was the day of yearly event "Papiercorso". (paper corso)
A parade of decorated vehicles, carts with schoolchildren on it are going through the old town centre. The decorations are all made of small handmade paper roses. People are preparing it for almost a whole year... and today they had rain, rain and rain. That doesn't combine too well with the paper. The whole parade breathed a sad atmosphere.

Bas and Daan were having a haircut (I had mine yesterday). But even that didn't go entirely as planned... in my opinion (and my wife's too) their hair is still too long! We had a discussion about that in the shop but it seems the stylist choose their side after all.

Let's move on to Sunday!
