Back in time
Tudor time at Oxburgh today - people in costume demonstrating everyday tasks and artefacts. There was a lady showing how she made her own quill pens, and the ink as well, with examples of her writing. Another was carding wool from all sorts of animals (including dogs!) which had been collected and then dyed with natural dyes before being spun as pictured here. Other people were just walking around - one had a ferret (not real) and a couple were playing 'ball and cup' and spinning tops. It was a pity the weather was not better - heavy showers and brighter periods - but at least it was not continuous rain!
