A visit to The Haworth and our evening meal.

A lovely day shopping for Paul's birthday trainers,and finding a perfect fit and colour for him from Windfields. Then a visit to an Art exhibition at The Haworth Art Gallery on the outskirts of Accrington. Some large painted portraits by Accrington born Gerard de Rose, were on display. He attended Accrington Art College, and then went to the Royal College of Art in 1939.
He produced painting of several well loved celebrities, and these include David Hockney, Morecambe and Wise, David Oxtoby and Trevor Howard the actor.
Mass and then salmon and roasted vegetables.
