Confirmation bias

Only two outside tables were being used as I walked past today and this was one of them. Well!

Despite lots of evidence to the contrary (Markus in Bahia, me in Havana) we don’t normally dress to match our surroundings except in jest (Tivoli preparing to visit this place) but we are very used to dressing to suit particular requirements (the little black Christmas dress, dress-up-Monday-to-Thursday, anyone?). So perhaps, at some level, we choose to loiter in surroundings where we fit? 

I shall be keeping an eye on this.
