swans

blip 250 is not the quality it should be, sorry - the light was rubbish and i just couldn't figure out how to work round it fast enough, so i compromised, reasoning that getting this shot of the pair fluffing and preening each other with noise was better than getting a perfectly pinsharp shot of a swan's backside sailing away...

i said back here i need more practice with these feathered creatures - and of course haven't been near the loch (five minutes' from my front door) since! ah, procrastination - if it were an olympic sport i'd probly never quite get round to signing up...
