Thistle and Bee

Yay Friday. Got caught in some traffic, snaking down the road. Glad to get out of it on to quiet side roads and the cycle path. A bit cool, but dry.

Spotted on the lunchtime walk. Thistle and Bee. Good name for a pub? The Water of Leith path was quite busy with tourists. People taking advantage of the relatively good weather before any real autumn storms comes, and less crowds because the Festival isn't on.

Got wet on the way home. No hailstones this time. But it was as though I had a cloud following me home. I'd turn in to  road, the rain would start to go off. Then the cloud would realise I'd turned, catch up, and start raining again. Glad to get home. After a shower, a nice cup of coffee.
