But, then again . . . . .

Mushrooms.

One of the bee colonies needed a bit of attention so I nipped out to the apiary during a sunny spell. By the time I had arrived it was starting to drizzle and, by the time I was ready to begin the work, it was raining too hard for me to take the lid off the hive. A professional bee keeper would have had to continue, but then I’m an amateur and don’t like being stung; I know it’s not always possible to avoid it, but I do my best. I sheltered under the Christmas trees, passing the time by Blipping this mother and her two daughters and hoping that the rain would ease. It didn’t so, apart from the Blip, it was a wasted journey.

There’s always tomorrow.
