Cooking preparation - bivouac style

This week is the school residential field trip week. As last year I joined the teacher team accompanying the grade8 students on their Ardennes adventures. On the first day the students learned hoe to start a fire and filter water, set up their bivouac (tarpaulins, ropes and hand crafted pegs) and of course cook dinner outside and roast marshmallows over the campfire.
