Off the grid

Five days away from the office. Feels kinda nice. Have some good things in prospect.

Parsons Green tube bomb. Smacks of an amateur wanting to make a name for themselves. Talking of which, that less than presidential Mr Trump was quick to tweet. Thanks for the advice about being more proactive. Really helped.

I spent all day being busy in meetings, half keeping the show on the road, half shaping the future. Generally very positive. Got a lift to the station with someone I hadn't met before. Good to meet new people.

Tonight was a pint and a parking ticket. Don't ask about the latter, it was a rip off. Small stuff, not worth sweating. The Dizzle and Ms D went to Taco Bell which is basically a Mexican themed version of McDonalds. Sort of place that makes you despair for the future of the human race. And all other species come to that. And we had a family movie night with a golden oldie - Jim Carrey in The Mask - which was good fun. Some great cartoon style gags and other film refs and the divine Cameron Diaz (who, incidentally, is a fellow Virgo).
