"One o' them days boy."
Going stir crazy I went out, after washing & hanging out 2 loads. Stage 1 run to tip with small, dead, electrical bits and pieces.
While driving through Newbiggin it started to peezle down - BUGGER! the washing. Dumped the bits and headed home.
Arriving in Penrith there was no sign there'd been any rain, goodly, plan B go and see "The bloke" about my "Air con" All summer I had plenty air but no con. I tested it today by driving around with a 0-100˚C thermometer stuck in the aircon outlet Ambient outdoor, the car "told " me was 10˚C, the thermometer, with aircon set at "Lo" = some figure lower than 14˚C the air issued forth at 20˚C. Since I'll hardly need cooling over winter it can wait until MoT o'clock.
Got home, washing almost dry, left it. Went out to gather it in :¬( Sodde's Law had set in) it had rained. Damn, it can hang there & I'll see what a.m. brings.
I suspect this may be a short necked giraffe which is still about the right height I'd reckon. I'll try and shoot another next time I pass and try to establish whether it's a Peacock or a Beaver.
