Haws...

No trip to Sainsbury's today, apparently we have everything we need for the next few days and we're off to Dorset next week. This was good as I didn't have to spend the best part of the day shopping, but went for a walk around the Millennium Wood in Castle Camps.  There seem to be huge numbers of Hips and Haws on the bushes, hopefully not the harbinger of a long, cold winter.

I didn't know that Haws can be used to make a kind of Ketchup, this article was in The Guardian so it must be true!
