Fa'kirk bairns. I was one.

I was rummaging through a box of memorabilia and came across a presentation made by my daughter in 2002 for my parents' Diamond Wedding party. The content related to their hometown of Falkirk where they met at Falkirk High School.  This extract is from an article about the school in Scottish Country Life in November 1920, the year of their birth.   
I hadn't realised the bairns o' Fa'kirk were so ill thought of!
