Sherwood Lake

Good to see the volunteers enjoying themselves.  I am not surprised really - this team work for M&S in Tonbridge and are allowed one day extra off per year to do charity work .  Pleased they chose our conservation group.  They worked very hard. 
The woods used to be a Victorian estate typically planted with rhododendrons and laurel. We are cutting it back because it's strangling the native trees and making the woods very dark and impenetrable.
