Waiting for:

The first bug hotel guests. I had asked my husband to make me a bug house but looking how little they cost to buy, he said it wasn't worth making one once he had bought the wood. It is much bigger than I imagined it would be not having checked it's dimensions. We noticed that a butterfly was clinging to the fence not far away this evening.
I think it has rained here 12 days in a row with two more days at least promised. September used to be a reliable month in the UK.
