Perfect storm

A perfect storm of a day. We are always light on appointments on a Thursday and today was looking worse than normal as Dr A was on holiday. That was before Dr C called in to say that his wife was in early labour and he would not be in either. The team pulled together however and we got through the work. I did however enjoy my 6 30 cuppa more than usual before tacking some paperwork. Despite the odd manic day it's a great job and I wouldn't ever want to be doing anything else.
