Today we had to say goodbye to Bella who went to the pasture in the sky.  She arrived here as a caddy lamb in a cardboard box 13 years ago.  She will be missed.  I spent a lot of the morning phoning a variety of wifies in Kirkwall in an endeavour to find my maroon jersey.  I left it in the Peedie Kirk Hall after last night’s ceilidh.  For a midweek ceilidh it was very well supported and the team put on a great spread.  Free nips of Highland Park were available, ditto Swannay Brewery beer.

Very showery today.  I set a personal best taking in and putting out the washing four times.
