Waiting

This morning I spotted someone finally filing the expansion joints in the stonework of this pub rebuild, and by this evening the site boards had been removed after months of work. They'd had to reconstruct the façade due to neglect, but I hate the way the long vertical joints break up the the stonework. Miss L has been offered a waitressing job there, but isn't sure about some things in the contract. Not something I had to think about at her age!
