It feels like war is coming.....

Don't worry, not a real war, but the 1940s weekend at Holt. All the shops are busy dressing their windows, either like this one with bunting and forties memorabilia, or by putting masking tape crosses over the windows. There is definitely a bit of a buzz around town with more people visiting than normal. This will be my first 1940s weekend and I'm really looking forward to it. Fingers crossed for dry weather. 

G and I started a 10 week photography course today where the aim is to produce a panel of photos. Just a refresh today and practice session on getting exposure right in camera using shutter speed, ISO or aperture. We also had to take a laptop, camera, tripod, file of handouts, notebook and props to photograph - we both took holdalls with wheels as we had so much stuff!!!
