Steel

We went across to Blackpool Pleasure Beach to squeeze in a last little bit of summer. The weather was actually fine, with blue skies apart from a short shower during which the dark skies made for a bit of drama with all these steel structures.

What a day to go - everything was open except The Big One (which I was glad of the excuse not to go on) and not a single queue - we walked straight onto every ride and ended up going on about 14 of them, including Infusion in the foreground of the photo twice.  After that we decided we'd better not push our luck so we retired to Wetherspoons in St Anne's for tea. 

Got back home to the dog doing her best Whitney singing impression as we opened the front door - perhaps she thinks we don't know that she has spent much of the day with her charming new dog walker, with whom she gets all flirty and giddy.
