Long journey

A really long day of driving south into France.  Not helped by the frequent heavy showers of rain. it was a nightmare of a journey. There were roadworks in Germany then when we got into France, lorry drivers were holding a protest on the motorway around Lyon where we sat for about 2 hours.  I had to phone ahead to the B&B in Mazamet to assure them we were on our way.  They were very good and told us of a shorter route around Montpelier and also held dinner back for 30 minutes.
