Lights Out

Well my friends, Irma came through with a bang.  The eye wall came straight through Polk County.  Thankfully all that happened to us was limbs down, my beautiful bougainvillia ripped out of the ground and debris all over the place - there will be lots of bonfires and raking in our future. Just have to wait until the water goes down.  We lost power about 8:00pm  Sunday and didn't get it back until about 9:00pm Wednesday night.  You never realize how much you appreciate air conditioning and water until you don't have it, but no one in our area was hurt or injured.  The neighbor across the street lost their screened front porch and some others lost trees and some siding on their homes.  All is well and clean-up is on the move.
