Crowning Glory

This is the crown spire of St Giles' Cathedral on The Royal Mile, Edinburgh. It is a wonderful landmark, and means that St Giles can be located from wherever you are in Edinburgh. The crown spire was first erected in 1495, and was then rebuilt in 1648.
