canadian adventure

today has been very wet and cold. So cold in fact that when we went downtown we bought a pair of mittens each and Alan bought a fur lined base ball cap.the Hudson Bay Trading store. From +30 degrees  to 5 degrees in 48 hours. 
We met our granddaughter for coffee  and then we headed off to the camera store and she went home. She is quite unwell at the moment  and these are her days off. 
The transit system here is really good. A ticket gets you a bus ride to the transit station and the bus driver gives you a transfer ticket which is good for one and half hours. This is enough time to get from one side of town to the other by train and bus. Herethe VT train travels in the middle of the highway. In Downtown the train, tram and buses share the same space as do the Peace police. It really does work good. The best thing about down town is you can walk the Walk which is an inside corridor  from one set of malls to another. Very handy in the snow or days like today

£ of the shots are just reflections in the glass buildings which I love. The giant shoes a display in the mall and the final one is the Devonian Gardens on the top floor of the mall which is still closed for repair work following a major renovation 3 years ago
