Mar-Mar The Cat On Better Days

I have not had the heart to talk about Mar-Mar.  I had to put
him down in July.  He disappeared during a particularly bad
summer for me.  He was gone for two days ; then I found him on the front stoop crying out in pain.  He must have got into poison of some
sort.  The vet gave me no hope and I made the terrible decision
of ending his misery.  I will never allow a cat to go outdoors again.
I do not understand humans who poison animals; surely there must
be more humane ways for them to handle animals they perceive as
a problems.
