The mill pond

A duvet day today. I poked my nose outside a couple of times for a rain check and took this picture out of my bedroom window. However, I caught up with a few things, including eight back-blips - only eight more to go!

The ridge you can see in the foreground was probably made from the earth removed when creating the mill lade, and it would have acted as flood defences (maybe still does!)
