Another milestone met!
I had the privilege of speaking to a cohort of NQTs today. I was asked to share my experiences and offer some words of wisdom. I felt a little like I didn’t deserve to be there but the response I received and the smiling faces told me I was being my usual self-deprecating self. Although, there were more people there than I’d anticipated and on arrival I had a moment of sheer panic and allowed my little demons to creep in.
I quickly took myself off to the loo to have a word with myself. Once I got in and got talking it felt easier. Hopefully I’ve been of some use. Even if it's just warning them about the plethora of germs that harbour in a school building!
