Cigs

By Cigs

Dunedin Street

See this? It's the graffiti / tagging equivilent of cannibalism.  Previously there was one of the longest standing Cigs examples of his bigger ones on this wall. He's only gone and painted over his own tag!

And after touting some tickets to an exhibition of concrete to a celebrated Leaf blipper, I was heading to my final call of the day blissfully disengaged at 25mph, 3 minutes to travel half a mile, easy peasy lemon squeezy.
And there is was. One Cigs covering another. Oh the dilemma. Do I get all OCD and do the visit or do I get all OCD and do the blip?

And then the woman with dogs diverted down the vennel and it was a done deal.
So at 1431 I duly arrived at ** ******ton A****** and all was well. Trenchfoot not withstanding. It was bloody wet today.

In other news this (and the one on the corner of Brunswick Road / Easter Road) are the first big Cigs I've seen on non sanctioned walls since Cooncilor Rose shopped Cigs to the fuzz a couple of years back. Maybe it's the onset of winter and the darker nights? Maybe its two fingers up at authority? Maybe it's the Arts Council grant that's come through?
