Our High Street

At the office this morning, messed about a bit in the early afternoon might have been blipping and then headed out to Lanark to take some 'street scene' photos for a flickr challenge. 47 shots later and there's only two I'm reasonably happy with and it was a toss up which one to do. Ours is a typical High Street, with the usual bookies, pound shops, hairdressers and the like, and of course its share of empty shops and charity shops. The good people who run 'Lanark In Bloom' try to cheer it up with tubs and bedding plants and their work was rewarded with a bronze medal in the recent Britain in Bloom competition.
