Europe

People from all over Europe who made their home in Britain are now having to speak up for their rights. Some people have lived here for decades. They married Brits. They work in our NHS, our schools, and our emergency services. Their children are British. Now they have to fight for the right to remain with their families. 
I am appalled at my government.
I am appalled by the lurch to the right over the last few years. Now even moderates appear to be extreme left-wing. 
I wish we could have the feelgood factor of the summer of 2012 back.
