Uh Oh

Danielle had an accident today. As she has a bit of a cold she'd decided to use some steam treatment to clear her stuffy nose. However, she knocked the bowl of boiling hot water over her arm! It was only her and pups in the house so she ran to the cold water tap, cooling it for several minutes while screaming then wrapped it in cling film and rang granny for help. They went to doctor's then waited, then went to A&E and waited, then to the burns unit. 3 hours later she has a very red arm (I've not seen it), a neat bandage and a sling. Back tomorrow morning to see how it's doing.

She'll survive but not sure if there'll be any lasting damage or whether it will affect her baton twirling - European Championships in two weeks time!!
