Ailmentary, my dear Watson. ...

It's been interesting to read about all the people clogging up doctors' surgeries, having gone online to research their 'symptoms', and then (wrongly) imagining that they have all sorts of illnesses.

Cyberchondria, as some smarty pants has named it.

As you know, I'm actually almost a medic, and therefore have no need to consult Dr Google. So far this year, I have diagnosed myself as having beriberi, smallpox, malaria (I'd only been to Largs!) and, rather surprisingly, being pregnant with twins.

And I've forgotten the other thing.


Oh yes - amnesia......
