(Very) Wide Angle Wednesday view from White Horse
This is a subsection of the stitched panorama* from near the top of White Horse Hill above Uffington, Oxfordshire. I had to reduce it from the full width as it was more or less a smudge when uploaded, even now I'm not sure how well this will work ...
It will almost certainly require large viewing, not one for the phone ...
For the technically curious - Nikon D3200, 35mm prime lens, solid tripod, 28 shots ( for the full panorama ) stitched together into a 30,000 by 1766 panorama using Hugin on Linux. This subsection is a mere 14000 by 1634 ( there was a little glitch at the bottom that's easier to trim than to fix ).
The horizon is correct by the way, I know it looks like it slopes down to the right, but that's what it does in reality !
* after a bit of fiddling, the whole thing, in colour, as an extra ...
