Asters in autumn
The asters are popping out everywhere now much to the butterflies and bees delight. Truly autumn here with warm sunny afternoons and chilly night. But it is very dry... we need a good soaking rain before planting bulbs. I tried but even a digging fork will not go into the soil.
Perhaps the people in Texas and Florida have used up all the allotted rain?
