FISHING

The Fremantle Doctor was in this afternoon but it didn't deter these two anglers and the following seagulls.  They were busy casting out or baiting up their line.  The seagulls were in a frenzy (or so it seemed) with all the activity. 

At the other end of the beach to the fishermen were a young couple.  She was heavily pregnant.  They placed two fold out chairs on the beach and appeared to sit quietly, enjoy the sea, sunshine and the fresh air - coming to the realisation that their lives are about to change.  They are a part of the extra.

Earlier, the sewing girls celebrated Marie's birthday (today) with pancakes, strawberries, baked rhubarb, yoghurt and a cuppa at my place (thankfully, we decided 9am was too early for bubbles)  A great way to start the day and with such great girls.  I have a feeling the birthday girl will be celebrating for the remainder of the week - and why not.
