Tiny Tuesday : : Chiles
It would appear that house painters are are a rather unreliable lot. We were supposed to have two...father and son, both named Dave. So far we have seen only young Dave, who works a three hour day, scrapes mounds of paint off the house and then leaves the mess all over the place while he goes off deer hunting. I was incandescent. OilMan went out and swept it all up.
Young Dave told us yesterday that the paint would run off the walls if the humidity was higher than 85%. Afternoon thunderstorms were predicted for today but it was sunny and hot this morning. The thunderstorms never materialized. Neither did either Dave.
I'm not filled with confidence about the next phase which is spray painting, especially about where the fresh paint will actually wind up....
In the garden the chiles are finally ripening. We have several different kinds, but OilMan didn't label them when he planted them, so we're not sure which ones are which. The rule of thumb is that the smaller they are, the hotter they tend to be. If that is the case, the ones in today's shot will be too hot to handle, for they are only about two inches long. I'm guessing that they are chiles de arbol.
