Despite our late arrival home last night, we were up early today as I had a midwife appointment. All went well, Amelie and I got to hear baby's heartbeat for the first time. It took about 10 minutes to find it, baby didn't like being pressed with the doppler and kept kicking it and moving away. Afterwards we popped into the library then had to head home rather quickly as Amelie needed the toilet...

Auntie Jan arrived this afternoon to stay for a couple of days. She had been at an awards dinner in London and was consequently rather....'tired'.
