Feeding Red Admiral

These flowers are very popular with the insects and this morning there were 3 Red Admirals, 2 honeybees and a few other things even when the sun went in. The shots of the butterfly with open wings weren't as good as hoped and the ones where I tried to capture it feeding didn't work - but this one where I didn't try did work!
This afternoon I was helping clear vegetation along one of the mill lades by the ponds but clearing the lade itself will need a small digger.
It was quite warm for a while but then a heavy shower cooled things down - and dampened the washing again before we managed to get it in.
