Rosneath Peninsula
Club walking today. We walked nine miles down the Peninsula passing Maol Riabhach and Clynder towards Rosneath and eventually Kilcreggan. Climbed quite high and had some great views of Gareloch, including watching a nuclear sub (unarmed I hope and pray) which was being escorted up to Faslane.
Had lunch up high with great views of the loch, and then walked down to Kilcreggan where we had a short break for coffee, or ice cream or whatever.
After the walk we had a meal at the Rosneath Caravan Park restaurant where the staff were very friendly and attentive, and served a great meal.
And a wee sleep on the coach on the way home!
