Barley harvest started

Fetched the rented combine and harvested the barley field next to the yard. A little adjustment needed in the beginning, but otherwise the combine worked well. But as you can see, a major part of the barley was flat on the ground, which makes it stressful for the driver and expensive to dry. The crop was quite good though.

Unfortunately the dryer didn't work. The furnace that required one spare part after testing last week started leaking fuel within minutes from the start and needed a new fuel pump. The repairman came 11:30 pm, so it was a long day both for me and for him.

I handed my phone over to Jussi just before finishing the field to get a few shots. The blip is one of them.
