Sun sinking

Like most skiing resorts, Lienz is in a valley and thus in shade in the morning and evening.

To be honest I can't remember if this was morning or evening. This is a scanned copy of the photo. The original shows what I was obviously trying to capture - the sun on the peaks of the mountains.

Holiday coming to an end. Looks like we are to have a murderous train trip back home, or at least as far as Frankfurt.

NB I have a day later reloaded a new copy of the photo after seeing a fellow Blipers reference to the Mobile phone App "Photomyne" to scan old photos. I tried it out and it is truly much better than my normal table top standard scanner. In the new photo, the mountains can be seen in the background where they previously were "washed" out.
