Preening

I've only really got one day available (today) to find something that meets the Weekly Blip Challenge theme of 'Animals'. Initially I was worried that swans were technically birds and therefore excluded from the category but some rather dubious clarification by Ian and a few others clearly allowed me to include feathered varieties.

I set out to photograph the swans and was getting some amazing light from the sun, yet only 3 or 4 minutes after this shot was taken I had to run back to the car as a storm descended over Edinburgh.
