Posing

I slid my window screen out of the way so I could take pictures of the Red-breasted Nuthatches at my feeder but my friendly black squirrel stole the show.  She just looked so cute perched in the tree watching me.  She hasn't been around much this summer but I've been seeing her for the past week or so and she looks like she is nursing, so maybe she just needs a break from the kids.  No matter how much time goes by she still takes peanuts from my hand.  In fact, she comes running to me when I step outside so I have to keep peanuts in my pocket so I don't disappoint her. ;-)
