Dan

We were relieved today when we read in the local paper that Dan, a former student of mine, was found after being missing in the mountains a couple of days. Dan has a couple of medical issues, so finding him safe and sound was a major plus. Dan is one of the more colorful characters I had in my classes over the years, and we're thankful he's ok. Here's the scary thing: It feels like Dan was just in my class...and he's 40 years old.
